Long fermentation sourdough with vine fruits, walnuts and spice, baked in a tin. Superb breakfast toast and partners well on a cheese board with mould-ripened cheeses.

Morpeth Sourdough Spicy Fruit & Nut is a long fermentation dough made from premium baker’s flour with a mix of quality vine fruits, cinnamon and walnuts. Our  sourdough process is authentic because we use only flour, filtered water, iodised salt, plus our signature starter culture.  Therefore it’s also 100% vegan and natural.

After a long fermentation period, we roll the dough, let it rise in the tin and then bake on the stone floor oven. Spicy Fruit & Nut is a full of flavour and is slightly sweet and sour. It goes beautifully toasted with a pot of tea for breakfast.

Morpeth Sourdough Spicy Fruit & Nut freezes well, but slice it first, so you can take out just what you need. Our long fermentation sourdough is really healthy for you, it’s naturally lowGI and has no added preservatives.
